This is the home page of the longest established and largest Citroën club in South Australia – dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and above all else, the appreciation and enjoyment of all Citroën vehicles – any model, any age, old or new.
The Club has approximately 80 members. Members and visitors attend monthly meetings, held at 8.00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month (except January) at the "Lounge", City of Burnside Civic Centre. Meetings include regular guest speakers and illustrated presentations, technical and social presentations, and a good deal of 'bonhomie'. In addition to holding monthly meetings, Club members participate in regular Club runs, technical afternoons and social events.
A beneficial service to owners of vehicles manufactured prior to 1979 is the Club's assistance with the SA Conditional Registration Scheme for Historic, Prescribed Left Hand Drive and Street Rod Vehicles.
The Club is pleased to assist with any enquiry – in the first instance via Colin Carati, the Club Secretary: secretary@clubcitroensa.org.au or 0411 156185
Visitors and new members are always welcome…simply come along to one of our meetings or runs and introduce yourself!
Cit-In registrations close on 17th February. Interest so far has been very strong, with over 170 registered to attend, making this one of the biggest CIT-INs in recent history. There are still 'room in the inn', so if you have a mind to join us, now is the time to commit to the 17-20 March. For full details go to CIT-IN 2023 on this website
Avid cyclists and CCSA members Greg Moorhouse and Andy Griffiths swaped their bikes for Greg's 2CV and parked right on the roadside at Mt Lofty to urge the cyclists on for the final leg of the Tour Down Under. AGR2 Citroen team members got a special cheer !
Tony Conroy was very keen to get the Club out in their cars, so he organised an unoffical 'run' in January, ahead of the 'official' start to Club activities in February. A large contingent of Club members had brunch at La Crema coffee emporium, inspected the hi-tech Tonsley Park development and finished with a cruise to the seaside.
CCSA's Xmas Dinner at the Petanque Club was a great success. An excellent turnout, great food and a very generous spirit prevailed. The Club raised $502 for the Hutt Street Centre, plus several bags groaning with goodies. it was a warm and fuzzy end to 2022 !!
A welcome return to SA's big car day out - the Bay to Birdwood 2022. Plenty of Citroens turned out, including several from our Club
